Sponsorships
Durango Youth Hockey Association offers sponsorship opportunities to benefit the young hockey players in Durango.
We offer several opportunities for businesses to support our teams. With more than 160 players and 6 levels, our organization is continuing to grow and develop fantastic opportunities for these players to be competitive in our region.
Your support of our hockey organization will continue to help grow our program and teach the youth positive life values through team sports. These positive life values include dedication, hard work, self-discipline, and good sportsmanship. Our purpose is to continue to promote skill development and teach the fundamentals of this great game of hockey. A skill that will continue to influence our youth for years to come.
There are many ways to support the organization. As a sponsor, you will help us achieve our mission. With your support we can continue to help our youth with sponsorships, ice fees, equipment, uniforms and other needs to sustain our organization. We really can’t do it without your financial contributions.
Along with our sponsorship package, we encourage individuals or smaller businesses to support a player with a one-time donation. This donation can go to an individual player of your choice or towards our general scholarship fund to help them with registration costs. Individual sponsors will be recognized in our newsletter and on our website. Registration costs range from $600 to $1500. Donations start at a minimum of $50 per sponsor.
Stanley Cup-Program Sponsor
Show your support with a Stanley Cup Team sponsorship for the program. This sponsorship will be used to cover the operational costs of the program including but not limited to coaching staff, ice time fees, and other costs for the program.
- Company logo on Durango Hockey website and recognized as the program sponsor.
- Company logo in the Monthly newsletter.
- Banner with company logo hung inside rink.
- Recognized as the program sponsor in all social media blasts.
- Sponsor can include a small ad in the Monthly newsletter and business brochures to registered members.

Playmaker- Tournament Sponsorship
Sponsor a tournament during the season for a team of your choice. sponsorship includes:
- Social media post with team photo and sponsor banner (sponsor provides business banner or logo for photo).
- Company logo will be recognized under the team page for being a Tournament Sponsor.
$550: Sponsor one tournament ($50 of this sponsorship will go towards the scholarship fund)
$1100: Sponsor two tournaments ($100 of this sponsorship will go towards the scholarship fund)

Tournament Sponsorships - only one sponsor per team, per tournament. First come, first serve basis. If the tournament is unavailable we will give sponsors alternative options. Tournament sponsors must be received two weeks prior to the tournament.

Slap Shot – Scholarship Sponsorship
Support a player by providing financial support through the scholarship sponsorship. Program fees range from $600 to $1500. Sponsors can choose a specific player or have the funds go into our scholarship fund. Players needing sponsorship will apply each season and based on specific criteria will be rewarded a sponsorship by our committee.
